---+ *GuideLines of Using Masks and Different Type of Masks* After careful consideration of the most recent scientific proof from the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE)they are advising people to put on a face covering in enclosed spaces where social media isn't necessarily possible or in which you come into contact with people you don't normally meet to help reduce the spread of coronavirus. ---++ Protective masks versus respirator masks ---+++ What is a protective mask? - Masks are loose fitting, covering the mouth and nose

- Designed for one-way protection, to catch bodily fluid exiting the wearer

- Example -- worn through surgery to prevent coughing, sneezing, etc the vulnerable individual ---+++ What's a Respirator Mask? - Respirators are tight fitting masks, designed to make a facial seal

- Non-valved respirators provide good two-way protection, by filtering both inflow and outflow of air

- All these are designed to protect the wearer (when worn properly), up to the safety rating of this mask

- Available as disposable, half face or full face

- Not for use by the general public

Surgical masks have higher requirements, and respirators possess the greatest requirements. Respirators also generally fit tighter around the face (data shows they score higher on fit effectiveness) than surgical masks and single-use face masks. ---++ Disposable Mask A disposable mask is a loose-fitting, apparatus that produces a physical barrier between the nose and mouth of the wearer and potential contaminants in the immediate atmosphere. Masks are produced in various thicknesses and with diverse abilities to defend you in contact with fluids. These properties may also affect how readily you may breathe through the face mask and how well the mask protects you.

While a disposable mask might be effective in blocking splashes and large-particle droplets, a facial mask, by design, doesn't filter or block quite tiny particles from the atmosphere which may be transmitted by coughs, sneezes, or certain medical procedures.

Disposable masks aren't intended to be utilized more than once. If your mask is either damaged or soiled, or if passing through the mask becomes difficult, you need to remove the face mask, then discard it securely, and replace it with a new one. To safely discard your mask, put it in a plastic bag and set it in your home rubbish bin. Wash your hands after handling the used mask.

FFP2 masks are used to protect the lungs from anything poisonous in the air. This could be from dust and particles, into aerosols and smoke. There are numerous online shop to [[https://achat-masque-ffp2.fr][masques ffp2]].

The FFP2 mask provides more protection than the FFP1. It is the EU equivalent of the US N95 standard and recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) during the outbreaks or SARS, coronavirus and avian influenza. It offers protection against deleterious materials in the air such as lead dust, as well as aerosols and smoke. It's, therefore, a popular mask in mining and metal industries, agriculture, and also is the go-to mask for healthcare professionals to protect against flu.

-- %USERSIG{SujataSharma - 2021-02-12}% ---++ Comments %COMMENT%
